Miami continues to gain traction in national rankings. Miami came in at number 7 in Knight Frank’s 2014 Global Cities Survey. The survey keeps track of the most important cities to wealthy individuals.
The most important global cities are determined based on economic activity, quality of life, knowledge and influence, and political power. It also takes into account the number of ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) in each city.
London took the top spot in 2014, with New York City coming in a close second. Miami was the only other American city in the top 10.
With high entrepreneurial activity, a vibrant creative community, well-educated adults and a thriving luxury real estate market, Miami is poised for success.
