The average sales price for high-end single-family homes and condos in Miami Beach rose over the year, according to a recent report. The Miami Beach luxury real estate market also saw an increase in sales, with 826 condos and 304 homes sold since August 1, 2012.

A luxury condominium development is set to rise on a private, undeveloped island in Miami. Located between Williams Island and Sunny Isles Beach, the development known as Privé will be comprised of two 16-story towers with a total of 160 units on an island in Dumbfoundling Bay.

New construction sales are going extremely well in Miami. In the most recent example, only 2 luxury residences remain unsold in One Ocean South Beach. The ultra-exclusive, 4-bedroom plus den units offer 4.5 baths, floor-to-ceiling glass, private elevators and spacious wraparound terraces. The terraces feature private pools, summer kitchens and landscaped gardens.

As more foreign buyers enter the luxury real estate market in South Florida, more homes and condos are being offered stocked with everything necessary to move in right away. Buyers do not want to spend the necessary time furnishing and outfitting their properties, especially when many of these luxury residences are purchased as second homes.

Amid 18 new condo buildings already proposed in Miami Beach, developer R. Donahue Peebles plans to add a boutique luxury condo tower located at 6747 Collins Avenue to the mix. The exclusive condominiums will be located on an oceanfront lot just south of the Canyon Ranch towers.
